Omer Ihsas
Omer Ihsas ist Sänger und Komponist aus dem Sudan. Omer Ahmed Mohamed Mustafa, so ist sein offizieller Name, lebt mit seiner Frau, Fawzia Abdelraziq, und seinen vier Kindern, Ryan, Raoaa, Ahmed und Awaab in Khartoum, der Hauptstadt von Sudan.
Haquiba – der Beginn
Omer Ihsas, geboren und aufgewachsen in Nyala, der Hauptstadt von Süd – Darfur beginnt schon sehr früh „Haquiba“ Lieder zu singen. Haquiba ist Volksgesang bei dem der Sänger einerseits sich selbst auf den Instrumenten „Tomtom“ und /oder mit Perkussion begleitet und andererseits auch von anderen Vokalisten begleitet wird.
Der Komponist - Musikfreunde
Er findet seinen Stil und beginnt Lieder zu komponieren. In dieser Zeit tritt er mit verschiedenen Musikerfreunden auf, wie z.B. Ibrahim Sonata, Ahmed Bass, Mohamed Tarneen, Mickael Aldao, Abosarei, Mohamed Suleiman Guitar, Mohamed Yagoub Agali, Alshazali, Fakhri.
Khartoum – Radio Omdurman
1981 geht er nach Khartoum zur „Vereinigung für Theater und Musik“. Das Komitee von Radio Omdurman findet seine Stimme gut. Von da an hört man Omer Ihsas im Radio und im TV. Ihsas beginnt am „Higher Music Institut“ in Khartoum zu studieren.
Neuer Musikstil - Begeisterung
1991 präsentiert er seine Kompositionen in einem für den Sudan komplett neuen Musikstil. Omer Ihsas bringt den starken Rhythmus von Darfur Percussion mit der Leichtigkeit der Musik des modernen Zeitstils zusammen und überzeugt damit sein Publikum.
Internationale Festivals - Medaillen
Von da an begann seine internationale Kariere.
1196 erreicht er den dritten Platz beim „Arabic Song Festival“ in Tunesien, 2000 bekommt er die Silbermedaille für den Videoclip seines Liedes „Zoali“ und 2001 gewinnt Omer Ihsas beim „Song Festival“ in Libanon für „Hamra“ und seinen neuen Musikstil den ersten Platz.
Musiktouren – im Sudan und der Welt
Er singt und präsentiert seine Kompositionen, die für Hoffnung und Frieden sind, in vielen Ländern, wie z.B. in Kenia, Chad, Eretria, South Afrika, Indien, Sri Lanka, Deutschland, Österreich, Holland, Schweiz, England, USA und Kanada.
Im Sudan tourt er unermüdlich in die Krisengebiete Sudans, wie z.B. in den Süden und in die Camps in Darfur und singt für den Frieden.

Heute – Botschafter der Musik
Omer Ihsas gilt als Botschafter des Friedens und des „neuen Musikstils“ seines Heimatlandes.
Er ist Mitglied des „Sudanese General Union for Music Professions“ – Omduramn / Sudan, der „Vereinigung für Theater und Musik“ in Khartoum South / Sudan, Präsident von der „Community of Neyala“ - Khartoum / Sudan und Creative Director für „Soulconversation – Austria“ für Sudan.

Haquiba - the beginning
Omer Ihsas, born and raised in Nyala, the capital of Sd-Dafur, began quite early singing Haquiba songs. Haquiba is a kind of folksinging whereby the singer accompanies himself on an instrument Tomtom and/or with percussions as well as being accompanied by other vocalists.
